This.

Patent law (and IP law in general) badly needs reform.

Vinyl is already the new old CDs.

In the wise words of Chris Carter, "C'mon, man!".

I work at Microsoft, but I can admit that I have an Ipod Touch and an Ipad 2 (both purchased before I started this job) . I can totally agree with the sentiment that Apple's products are easy to use and "just work." However, I disagree that they have the best interface now. The Metro UI on Windows Phone and Windows 8 is just beautiful and unlike anything else out there. iOS feels dated now when I pickup the iPad after spending some time with my Windows 8 Slate.

Carry on moes .

I'm waiting for the first reason to hate apple.

My family's Macbook, Ipads, Iphones, apple tv's, etc are all perfectly integrated.

I've never once spent a penny on an apple product that I felt was wasted and I've been using them for business and pleasure since 91.

Per Engadget:

Quote:
Sprint and AT&T both declined to comment, but HTC provided the following information about the EVO 4G LTE:

We can confirm that the product will not be in stores this Friday. Products for pre-order are on hold. We'll provide a ship date as soon as we're able. HTC will work with Sprint to maintain the promise for pre-order customers so they will be among the first to receive their HTC EVO 4G LTE units when available.

This is getting ridiculous. HTC supposedly settled with Apple over this in December. It has proven that it fixed the software issue. Nobody knows what the ITC holdup is.

It's funny that this whole thing happened right before (arguably) the best version of the One X was to be released. It's funny that the One X had already been sold in the US for a period of time in the US before this happened. What's funniest is that the One S (for T-Mobile) carries the EXACT SAME software as the two phones in questions, yet has not been challenged. Coincidentally, T-Mobile doesn't carry the Iphone. So, the question Apple has refused to answer is why these two phones? Why now? Why not when the One X was first coming out?

I know it will not happen, but I hope this thing goes on full blast and Apple's unfair legal practices (I won't be convinced this is HTC's fault. It's just legalized bullying of the highest form) are shown in the national spotlight. I don't care who's sued who in the past, and whatnot. And maybe that's shortsighted of me. As far as I know, it's never gotten in the way of a phone's release. Much less, one that is in the process of reviving two companies.

Utter insanity.
