1992-93 season. My first full season as a Rockets fan. I had just turned 13. Game 5 Clippers at Rockets. I cried near the end of the game because it looked like the Rockets were going to blow it. Rockets had a huge lead but clippers took a one point lead with a minute to go. But Mad Max hit a big three pointer with under a minute to go to win it.

In retrospect I can't believe I cried over a basketball game now that I am in the real world. Only other time I teared up was when Texas beat USC in dramatic fashion to win it all.

You are a hero, your heart is pure.

I was in Vegas at the MGM when Texas won. I went to fancy restaurant with my horns shirt and ate like a king.

I'm with you solid.

For me, it was in the Summit at the close of the 95 Western Conference Finals against the Spurs. When that game was decided, I let it out bigtime .........I KNEW after that we were about to win our second title....an electric moment in the nosebleeds.

the XX years of History at the beginning of games used to get me all misty eyed looking at all the history of the Rockets.

As the season progresses, it's whatever, i'm just checking out the hotties and the milfs in the crowd.

Yeah, my one time crying for the Rockets was also 1992-93, but after the Rockets lost game 7 to the Sonics. I was 12 years old, and it was the first time I got really passionate about a team. The game 7 loss was so close, and I don't think I had ever had to deal with that emotion before. I think even at the time I felt a little silly.

Good thing I got that out of my system early, because otherwise I would have been crying a lot during the 1996-1999 playoffs.

the year we had Artest, in the playoffs after Yao injured his leg against the lakers and they were taking him to the locker and he said F--- It, and pushed the trainers away and came back to the game. Stills give me goose bumps.

Once when I was little kid... in 97 when Stockton hit that shot. I buried my head in my pillow and cried for a good couple minutes.

Hated the Jazzholes sooo much... Didn't help the situation that we blew like a 14-pt lead with 3.5 min left at home IIRC.

The Rockets, battered and bruised, losing to the Jazz in the 2008 playoffs really had me going for a while. Of course, that opened the doors for us to trade for Ron Artest.

I got steaming angry but not cried when they went on this last losing streak. I spent all year telling friends and everyone that the rockets were going to make it. We went from talking about home court advantage to this. I quit on them at the end. My season ended kn a loss to the hornets.
