The wizards are a pretty horribel team. COach/chemistry issues, it seesm Jwall hasn't improved the least bit, and their team just doesn't seem focused. In such a horrible season, you would not think they'd be os light hearted in what they give out to the press

Quote:
Trevor Booker admitted that he goes about once a month. "It makes my feet softer," he explained. "I usually go to the Pentagon Mall. They always put on gloves when I come in."

It's one thing for big athletes to admit to getting pampered, but is it okay for regular men to get them? "Yeah, that's cool," Booker said.

The fact that Andray Blatche gets pedicures isn't surprising. Also not surprising is who he gets them with. "I usually go with my mom," he told me. "It's good to take care of your feet. I don't get manicures, just the feet."

But Blatche admits that there is some vanity involved, too. "I like to wear open-toed sandals in the summer and let my feet breathe," he explained. "My toes can't be looking busted."

Do you want them to stop personal hygiene to focus on basketball? Hunger strike maybe?

C'mon now...

John Wall only seemed to pick up his game when he was competing earlier this year against Jeremy Lin. After Lin went out, his motivation also dropped.

John wall is extremely athletic, btu he is the same player coing out college. smae shaky jumpshot, subject decision making, and just relying on his speed. He hasn't shown any improvement what so ever and has been a disappointment.
I remember the year he came out, many 'experts' said his worst case scenerio was a Drose type of player(this is before drose went out and won MVP that year)

He's just 21 and putting up nearly 17 and 8.

That's a disappointment everyone would want to have.

Wall needs a team around him that has focus and determination. They have a promising front court - Vesley/Booker, NeNe/Seraphin but they need to find him some decent Wings to play next to.

They must get rid of Blatche and Lewis.

Michael Jordan got them all the time. Could be another thing he popularized ?(and former Wizards player and part-owner)

Chicago Bulls superstar Michael Jordan recently revealed he enjoys pampering himself by getting manicures and pedicures, InStyle magazine reports.

"I get manicures every 10 days, pedicures once a month," he recently told Instyle magazine. "Maybe 20 years ago, I would've thought, 'That's feminine.' But men have needs as well. The trend now is Don't be afraid to express that. When we go to a city and we've got that dead time in the afternoon, a lot of players can be getting manicures."

If you wear open toed shoes, you need to take care of your feet. I see no problem with this.

I forget the difference between pedi and mani.. but guys can have pretty terrible and ugly feet so it's not a horrible/gay idea to get them to look better. Hands is a little strange for a guy

Been posting here since 2009. Apparently no one likes common sense, so it ran out of town with logic and reason and jumped into the river.
