Everytime I listen to the radio
this guy comes on trying to be cute or something
by making a little sing song type rhyme to do the summary
    of the half or game

    and
    IT IS HORRIBLE!!

I sit their thinking . . just give the update . . PLEASE!!
    Painful to listen too . . . .

Do you guys like that part of the show?

I know what you mean. It reminds me of this one annoying poster on here who formats all his posts as if he's writing in free verse.

I love it, I mean, it's radio. I prefer something different than the same ol' boring genereic news reel. if I wanted a straight recap, I'd read the article or watch actual highlights. And I don't really care for their opinions so keep the rhymes coming!

Ever since he replaced Wexler I've immediately turned off my radio post-game to save myself the rage.

hey at least someone is talking rockets! every time I tune in to listen to rockets talk, hosts that have no houston ties but live in houston, brush it off and want to go to lazy radio.(i.e bountygate and now it will probably be ozzie the anti revolutionary commie.)

Right now, I'd be happy to see a dd video on the rockets. anything!
I know careful what you wish for. ;)

That's his schtick. I don't think it's great, but I don't mind so much. Radio is theater of the mind. At least he is putting effort into his broadcast. That seems more than Clyde is putting in. Although I do not know what to think of the 3 man tv broadcast that they have been doing just yet.

I hear The Murph on with the guys on 610 in the afternoon about once a week. He's got personality, charm, charisma whatever you call it. He also has a way of breaking down what his happening on the court in an understandible and humorous manor. I wonder if we can replace Clyde or Joel ( the rhyme guy) with Murphy.

    It's really bad.

I'm sure he works hard on this, but I can't stand listening to his little Rockets poems.

Hate it. It's like listening to Dr. Seuss talk about basketball.

The guy is very good in interviews and general banter with anyone on the radio. The people who hate the rhyming feel stronger than the people who may like it. Will he consider the feedback? probably not.

I like him, but does that mean the rhyming adds to the listening experience?
