Not possible, Clutchfans has already traded Lowry in their minds. For real though, he's tearing it up.
Having Lowry in the booth was super refreshing. Even my gf, who was copying notes, noticed a new voice adding something worth while.
And he doesnt laugh at random things... Its sad.. but i think Drexler is the worst commentator in the league.. maybe Austin Carr of the cavs is worse
Although I wish he wouldn't say things like, that play was designed for PPat so he should shoot it. He's probably right, but I don't need teams knowing anything about our plays that they didn't know already. Even confirming what they think is bad in my opinion.
Most teams have a good idea what your team is running.. especially if you are in the conference and you play them 4 times a year
For the record, I think Clyde is one of the better announcers in the NBA. There are some pretty terrible team announcers out there. Clyde may have some homer moments, but not as often as many of the other announcers in the NBA, both locally and nationally. I meant to poke some fun at all of the 'Clyde needs to be replaced' crowd.
Clyde is the worst on the league. but as a side note, I am unfortunately spending the day in UTAH and am sporting my Clyde Jersey. getting lots of dirty looks.
Sean Elliott is a much bigger homer than Clyde. No doubt has some WTF head-scratching moments but Elliot is much more of a homer.
I'm not too big of a fan of Bill, but Clyde should never ever work for the Rockets nor the mass media again. They should do the "no commentator" thing like I think ESPN or NBATV did once in a while (I don't remember which). Give Bill/Bull a break.
i would rather listen to clyde then bullard. Bull talks too much about these old players he use to play with then the current players. Clyde atleast keeps it able to watch because we wait for the moment bill flips on him
I agree and also Bullard has to go, I rather listen to Clyde than Bullard too. Bullard is just too much, his voice is annoying, the way he reacts to dunks is too much, tries to point out the obvious, is too much of a homer, talks about flopping way too much - the word itself is annoying enough for him to start talking about it! People might think he gives more insight than Clyde but to me he hides his lack of knowledge about the opponent and the game better.
I think Clyde will be much better than Lowry. Kyle repeated anti-biotics 50 times in his recent interview.
