You have to give at least a courtesy sniff to Peyton, if for no other reason than preventing the Titans from getting him, either by signing him out right or driving up the price higher than Bud is willing to go (which won't be too hard, IMO).

 

With the big noise about Mario going to the Bears, and the salary shredding, perhaps Peyton IS coming here. I don't think the Texans would be half a$$ed about it. He's wanted to be here.(understandably) And now that we know there's mutual interest, it wouldn't shock me if it happens. I wonder how Schaub feels about this.

They had the room to go for Myers with AJ's contract restructure....and I don't think they'd make this move just to try and sign Williams, especially considering having him is more or a perk than a necessity.

First ballot HOF QB on market + QB-minded Head Coach = much more likely scenario....
