Big things are coming for them. Duncan is old, Manu is often injured, Parker is playing sub par compared to the championship days. Blair, Splitter are keeping them in the game at home. They lost nearly all of their road games. Are they contenders, a top 5 Western conference team or are they 5-8 seed material?
I have inside info, which I will not divulge where it comes from, but from a very connected personal source.......... This summer, Gregg Popovich made the decision that he is planning on this being the last season that he will have Duncan and Manu on the Spurs. The way he made plans this summer, is for one last run this year, and then next year the Spurs will go with a youth movement and make an overhaul to the roster, by bringing in younger players. Popovich, as of now, plans to STAY through the rebuilding process. I repeat, this is NOT a troll post. This is true insider information. Now, please understand that I am NOT saying this will happen, or even predicting that it will happen. I am merely passing on the insider info, on what the current plans of Popovich are, which he made this summer, and is still planning on at this moment. It does not mean that this is set in stone. But, this IS in fact what his current plans are for the Spurs future. Let us discuss.
Thanks for the information BTW. Much obliged. It will be interesting for them to see how fast Buford can move his assets.
Spurs had luck when Robinson was nearly done .... they had a young Duncan to take over that guaranteed 10 years of good play
 you may be correct however they did have a 61 win season last year and gassed out. They might have a little left.
