It seems fewer and fewer houses in my neighborhood are decorating their houses for Christmas as the years go by. Despite my personal beliefs, I actually like seeing homes festooned with lights and what not.

For those that have or are about to put up Xmas lights, are you going colored or white?

I hung up white on the roof. WIll do colored on the bushes.

White lights have a certain elegance. I have them on my porch, bushes and in the stock new-construction tree in my front yard.

Where is the "BOTH!" option?

My roof has white, my tree and front lawn has colored. Too bad they don't make BROWN lights.

I did all white for years, but the last 2yrs I've wrapped white and red together on the roof, in the trees and bushes.

Set up the tree and lights right after Thanksgiving. Went with multicolor lights

White is classic. Colored is nice though. I've been bugged by my sister to do so for the past week.
