About McHale, Morey said that most coaches don't make much of a difference regarding wins and loses. He said only like 3 or 4 coaches statistically showed a difference, one which was Adelman.

    (Dwight Howard)

But seriously, I can see D-Mo being our version of Pau Gasol.

How about statistics for our defense?

I really like McHale's persistence on scoring from the pant rather than the perimeter orientated mentality we had in recent years.

I hope we see Scola and Patterson post up more and Lowry, Dragic, Martin, Lee, Bud attack the rim more. The guys can are all good shooters, but they need to use it their secondary option. Primary option should be attack inside, take smart shorts, if none availavle dish back out.

We need to replace YAO. This team is perfectly tailored for a 7 foot monster.

Ha, every team gets a statscube, and every team can tease out a few numbers to get the fans optimistic. Big deal. The Rockets are not close, not even remotely close, to being a championship contender, and that won't change without a superstar.

D-Mo has a really solid right and left hand around the basket. He's also left handed. Those probably were factors in us wanting him.

He played better after Battier left.

He does like to play on the perimeter and isn't a good rebounder. He is weak on defense too.
I think he should be kept in Europe for another year.

The most improtant stat is the +1.8 the team had on avg over opponents. This suggests a 47 or 48 win quality team that got unlucky. Also, the terribleness of Brooks and Hill suggests an easy way to improve: murder them both in cold blood!

    Or just not play them.

The team is not a top team, but is closer to the top than the bottom.

What team doesn't want a 7 foot monster?

The top is very far away. Over relying on stats is erroneous. We aren't bottom feeders, but it's a potential first round team at best.

And you can go from fist round to the top pretty soon with some good measure of luck.

Right now better to compete and try to land a star. Tanking would require dumping everyone from Lowry to Patterson. And replace with totally inept scrubs.

Would tank if we were 30 win team, not now.

D-Mo has a better chance of being a Bargs type.
