    This morning on 610 the guys got to talk to Andre for about an hour and covered a wide range of topics. Vandameer brought up how Calvin Johnson has his nickname in "megatron" and asked Andre if he wanted a nickname or if he has one.

    Andre then mentioned that on his Twitter that people were saying if Calvin is megatron then Andre is Optimus Prime. Then Vandameer mentioned that Jacoby Jones said that Andre is Captain America.

    This isn't really a big deal but it would be pretty badass if we could get maybe a strong enough push to get Andre a nickname and be as widely used as "megatron". IMO he's deserved it.

    Fan Law : #24a... Once a player has reached 3 years in the league without any nickname, that player shall be deemed un-nicknameable and be adressed by initials only ....

    AJ is so bad ass that hes like Michael Jordan, he doesn't need a nickname, just AJ, or Dre.

    I completely agree with this thread!!!

    Megatron is one bad-A nickname, and I really think Andre should have his own. You can't have him playing off of Megatron though; Andre is too great to have to ride on someone else's nickname coattails.

    I like Captain America, or Tarzan.

    We need to get the ****** McClain to actually do something positive other than breathing heavily and telling us about his latest F- movie that he's in by getting him to refer to Johnson by that name in his articles. That will help the nickname spread nationally.
