Teams have been assembled and it's time to trim the field from 24 to 16. In this round, the team that receives the MOST votes will be eliminated from the competition. Review the rosters, then vote for the team which you believe is the WEAKEST.

    freeze00up
PG - Andre Miller / Eric Bledsoe
    SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Andrei Kirilenko / Boris Diaw
    PF - David West
    C - Javale McGee / Kwame Brown

N.B.: freeze00up did not make his final pick for some unspecified reason. I have given his team Kwame Brown. Decide for yourselves if that's a good thing.

    greenhippos
    PG - Jrue Holiday
SG - Ronnie Brewer / Monta Ellis
    SF - Shawn Marion
PF - JJ Hickson / Glen Davis
    C - Channing Frye / Tyrus Thomas

    RocketsRed14
    PG - Beno Udrih
SG - Marco Belinelli / Jamal Crawford
SF - Paul Pierce / Reggie Williams
    PF - Patrick Patterson
    C - Andrew Bogut / Derrick Favors

As a reminder, you're voting on which team you believe should be eliminated, not which team is the best. Voting will end Thursday at 30 minutes past midnight.

N.B.: 2010-11 performance is being used as a baseline for projecting player performance.

well at first I figured I would just let the voting take its course, but I guess after the first half hour of voting I might as well make my case.

    Posting stats and numbers shortly.

its just their simple stats, not everyone knows who Marco is, wouldn't you want the people voting to know your team?

I have no idea how freeze is losing to greenhippos, He has the better player at every position.

This is voting who the worst is. If you voted for freeze then you think he is the worst.

For the guards I'll post ppg/apg/rpg/spg. For big men I'll leave out the assists and add in blocks. Then add in shooting % (fg, 3pt (for guards or where applicable) ft) Then their defensive ratings.

    Freeze

    Miller: 12.7/7.0/3.7/1.4 - .460/.108/.853 Def: 108
    Bledsoe: 6.7/3.6/2.8/1.1 - .424/.276/.744 Def: 108
    Bryant: 25.3/4.7/5.1/1.2 - .451/.323/.828 Def: 105
    Kirilenko: 11.7/1.2/5.1/1.3 - .467/.367/.770 Def: 109
    Diaw: 11.3/4.1/5.0/0.9 - .492/.345/.683 Def: 109
    West: 18.9/0.9/7.6/1.0 - .508//.807 Def: 104
    McGee: 10.1/2.4//8.0/0.5 - .550//.583 Def: 106
    Brown: 7.9/0.6/6.8/0.4 - .517//.589 Def: 108

......looks like it's a little too late to post the other teams at the moment, will do so first thing tomorrow. We have till Thursday to vote.

Wish I was in this group. Greenhippos, give up man, your team is clearly the worst. You'd beat Efryll though.

Hippos if you are going to post stats, please organize it better. Looks like a bunch of gibberish.

Plus with all of them separated, it is hard to compare.

Average Defensive rankings of each team:

    Freeze: 107.125

    Greenhippos: 104.875

    RocketsRed: 107.5

I guess here at Clutchfans we don't value defense.

Total of each teams players PPG

    Freeze: 104.6

    Greenhippos: 105.2

    RocketsRed: 92.4

I guess at the same time, we here at Clutchfans also don't value offense

Oddly enough I go to bed and I'm losing by 4 votes, wake up and I'm down by 30. Lmao, I didn't know how pathetically sad it seems most Rockets fans are.

LOL hippos your front court is Channing Frye and JJ Hickson. That's turrrrrible. You can't pick and choose the stats you use either. You use Drtg then PPG? Most of your players were on crappy teams of course their PPG are inflated.

To be fair, average bla bla bla doesn't really mean anything. Especially when guys coming off your bench are starters in real life.

Now if you were to adjust those average per minute stats and base it on expected minutes played, THEN it would mean something.

You seriously think a team with Channing Frye/JJ Hickson would be stronger defensively than teams boasting Andrew Bogut or JaVale McGee?

And why in the world would you bench Ellis? He is your go-to-guy.

I'm going to be honest with you there, that's EXACTLY what I was doing on the draft thread (posting numbers on a 36 min basis) and they only made me look so much better. I'll go through the effort of doing so on here, but the defensive and offensive numbers will not change. I also fail to see how one person from each of their team of 8 players makes up for the fact that every other position I'm better defensively.

I have a player with a 98 rating, and 100 rating. Only one other player out of the other 22 has one lower. Just look at their averages, it's not even close. My team was drafted on strict defense, with Ellis thrown in for scoring. And my team is worlds better. The numbers don't lie.
