:grin:Hi clutchfans, im just wondering how i can embed videos onto threads. Ive clicked'reply' on a post which has an embedded video but then what it said in the <.....> was reallly complicated and confusing. Please help. Thanks!!
You don't generally type that stuff by hand. Usually, the site with the video that you want to post has an "embed" option, which basically lets you copy that text and put into a post of your own. For example, check out this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ Click the "Share" button beneath the video. Then see an "Embed" option. It gives you a box with some text. Copy that and paste it into a post like this: <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dQw4w9WgXcQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Voila! I think you can customize the way the video is embedded a bit (e.g., size, color, etc.), but I never mess with that. It will just change what text you end up pasting into the post.
