All three sports businesses will be locked out this year (and next, maybe) and I think the NBA has a chance to try and stick it to the other two. I think the NFL will be locked out the longest out of the 3 and should have the biggest impact for the NBA. They should be able to steal viewers from the NFL, and the same with MLB if they lock out next year.
If there is no football in September, October and November then the basketball owners will be sitting in their best position ever: ZERO competition for the beging of the season. And if baseball locks themselves out then the owners should be sitting on a bonanza opportunity to cut into their early season market. __________________ Civilization exists by geological consent, subject to change without notice. - W. They want more money long-term, not just for one season. That's why these owners don't care.
