Great sense of humor. I liked McHale when he was still part of the NBA TV and TNT staff. But, now he's the coach of the Rockets.

A lot of changes might come later. Looking forward to see how this next season pans out. Hopefully it will end with a play-off berth.

Chuck Hayes is under 6"8 ... so won't get a look from McHale?

PArsons did not go to Minnesota. The foreigner we drafted at 23 and Miller went to Minnesota

We actually traded parson(#38) to the timberwolves but then bought the pick back

Did not know that. I am assuming the reason we didn't just throw the money in with the trade instead of Parsons was to appease some stupid trade rule. NBA trade rules are more complicated than the American tax code.

Tbh, and I'm saying this as a big Chuck fan, if he's getting minutes next year, it'd be because we couldn't bring Donatas over and Hill and Thabeet turned out just useless.

No, according to Clutch's thread they made the entire 20~23 deal because they received some info that the guy they wanted would go right before their pick.

They packaged the 38 in there to add some weight to their side of the deal, not expecting someone of Parson's caliber to still remain. When they saw that he was still available, they made a quick deal to regain that 38th pick.

Which makes me interested in why Kahn would help the Rockets. The only notable thing he gains is a lottery-protected 1st rounder and a 4-year investment they could've gotten at the 20th regardless.

Our new coach seems to have a great personality.
