2 new Halo titles? Talk about played out man. I know it makes $$$ but there's a point where it becomes pathetic that the only thing you trot out is a new Halo or Gears as your next big game.
Why not keep going with what works? And the Kinect brings in an entire new group of gamers. You don't need that many exclusive titles with all the multi-platform games.
Nintendo kept me around all these years with Zelda/Final Fantasy and I had PS1/2 for Final Fantasy. Very lucky they have released the last 3 FF (excluding the Nintendo series) on 360 as well. Hate to have to buy a PS3.

I don't think you even want to play FF anymore way. I've lost pretty much all faith in the series at this point.
Maybe Versus can change my mind. But I'm with tinman for now. Final Fantasy sucks.

Uncharted 3 is of course full of win.
Interested in seeing how the non Bungie Halo will turn out.
Whoa, I didn't know it isn't Sucker Punch. That sucks. Though I guess I should wait and see some gameplay first before completely disregarding it. I actually haven't played any of the games yet, but the Sly Collection is on my list. Games look great, and I love what Sucker Punch did with Infamous (and Infamous 2 looks great too).
Lot of major IPs being handed off to other studios. Call of Duty revolutionizing the game industry yet again!
More Halo - Meh, more stuff for me to finish down the road. Still have yet to bother to try to get hold of 3....
Skyrim - looks good
Ninja Gaiden trailer - meh, where the ladies of the series at? still excited for the game itself course
Uncharted 3 - more or less what people expects
3D stuff - meh
Vita - terrible name, would not buy
Infamous 2 - let's see how my free inFamous 1 goes first...
Microsoft Conference - was at work
Sony Conference - pretty boring, half paid attention to it...
Konami - downloaded, have yet to watch...heard something about a genderswapped protag for some big series...
Pretty lackluster to this point. MS rehashing the same old stuff as any other year it seems. PS3 has great games coming out, but nothing we didn't know about. I'm also starting to give up hope the Beyond Good & Evil 2 will never happen.

I haven't watched the conference, but that is a huge buzz kill. The Sly series was one of my favorites on the PS2, and Sly 2 would land in my top 5 list of games from last generation. Maybe another group can make a slick looking game, but it'll have a different vibe than the first three games.
I'd say the Vita price is a pretty big deal. Nice to see that maybe Sony actually learned their lesson from the PS3 launch.
(or maybe all the horrible press they've been getting the last few months forced their hand)

Yeah, it sucks. But like you said, maybe they'll do a good job with it.

I don't like the more recent ones like I did the SNES and PS1 games, but I stay loyal to the series. I'm still playing FF13, but I haven't finished any of them beyond VIII. The one thing I prefer about FF13, is that I can leave it for a month, and not be completely lost in what I was doing because of the datalog which makes the story easier to follow and just how linear the game is.

Final Fantasy seems to have dropped off big time. I remember when FF was a HUGE deal, now it just feels like another game. I think it is about time they just let the series rest up a bit.
I saw something about Star Wars - is it a knights of the old republic style game? That would be awesome, as would Jade Empire.
You mean The Old Republic? It's a MMO which STILL does not have a release date it's been like 5+ years now. I am still looking forward to it, I don't try to get too much into MMOs but I am looking forward to that one.

The Problem with final fantasy is they aren't adapting well, this is a major problem in Japan, our US developers are kicking their ass right now.
Final Fantasy 12 was spectacular, but linear. 13 had great animations, but it might as well have been normal level by level game. No exploration, just cutscene to cutscene. They need to get back to old school open ended RPG's like they made in the PS1 days. Games now can be more open than ever, and square-enix insists on having their games play like a corridor.
Skyrim and BF III look aweeeeesome, only games so far i'm really looking forward to. Will buy ME3 for sure, but the Kinect-ish didn't excite me. But as long as the gameplay keeps up with ME2 it's a must buy.
Can't wait to see Project Cafe, if they get decent games I might want to buy it.
Also wanna know what they bring with Zelda's 25th Anniversary, remakes of Link To The Past and Ocarina Of Time would blow my mind.

ps:
Ya'll seen the 2k12 gameplay?
Seemed really wack, few tweeks but looks totally the same as 2k11.
They added PS3 Move but it looked totally stupid and not innovative.
Really disappointed.
