he will NEVER be an all-star. mark that down. well, unless he is in a rondo situation and play with 3 all-stars, then he'll be overrated like rondo.
I hope the best for him but I expect him to crash and burn with the hype and expectations which have built up since he drafted..
A little too late? I don't think anyone, cept maybe 1 or 2 fans in Minnesota, really cares anymore. He'll be a decent 5th or 7th story after the Heat, Griffin, Fall of Lakers, etc... if he's lucky next season. Looking forward to not hear about him and the Timberwolves.
The lack of media spotlight is Minnesota's only positive. The negatives, though 1. Cold weather Rubio supposedly dislike 2. Crappy organization 3. Crappy GM who doesn't know how to judge talent 4. Crappy players around him 5. I'm too lazy to think but I'm sure there are at least about ten or a hundred more obvious reasons Rubio only signed this because of the CBA. And I'm sure he'll try to get out of that mess as soon as he's able to.
