Wizards new look

looks like a euroleague jersey. but i like the ball ..

 

They need a new name, not a new logo/color scheme. (Although I like the retro movement, a la philly, alt rockets, etc)

 

Looks like the Harlem Globetrotter and Dream Team jersey had an ugly baby.

 

They will always be the bullets to me. Die, PC police. Die!

 

I like the 'monument ball' and the 'dc hand' but i'm not feeling the horizontal stripes on the jerseys. Also, the color scheme does not match the wizard logo at all.

Come to think of it, Wizards is a pretty lame name as it is... They shouldve changed name to something like Generals, Senators, Capitals, etc.


I wonder if they originally were going to change the team identity back to the Bullets before the whole Gilbert Arenas thing happened.

 

Go back to the Bullets and the jersey is great.

They are awesome, and I disagree with the poster that said they need a new name. I think the "Wizards" is quite dope...

 

Wizards screams NBDL/WNBA.

Plus the new unis don't match the name at all.

very similar to the bullets. I like 'em. But yeah, too bad about the name.

 

I definitely like these jerseys more than those gold and black abominations, but I agree that the name just somehow doesn't fit the look and style they're going for. I love the nod to the Bullets, as that is what their true identity is, but something just doesn't feel right. I think the Monument Ball is a really cool alternate logo though.

 

Overall, nice unis. The jerseys and trunks look classy yet athletic, and the low-saturation hues are nice (much better than the red-white-blue of, say, the Clippers) Props for the subtle inclusion of the Monument in the team name, and the monument/ball alternate logo is stylish.

The DC Hand alternate looks forced. The primary Wizard logo is as stupid as ever. And the name 'Wizards' is still stupid, especially given the wealth of possible names their location in the nation's capital offers.

Definite improvement, but still a ways to go.

The more I see other teams changing jerseys, the more I wonder when the rockets will change theirs. I'm sick of seeing those hideous jerseys every night. I like the alternates a lot but they rarely wear those anymore

 

Should rename them Sleeves of Wizard.

 

love me some retro...some connection with franchise history.

bring back ketchup and mustard, please.
