Last night my parents ran into Robert Reid, and they struck up a conversation with him. According to Roberts, Rudy T has cancer. Not sure what kind, but we need to keep Coach T in our prayers. If anyone else has some details, let us know. As we know, he pulled through in 2003, looks like it has reared its ugly head again.

We are pulling for you Rudy!

Didn't we all know he had cancer since 2003? That's why he had to let go of his coaching position with the Rockets.

Well... yeah, but he was supposed to have been cancer-free for like the last 6-7 years. If it's come back that's a terrible thing

I hope this is not so but will be praying for Rudy. I hope Robert Reid didn't mean for this conversation to get out in the public.It would seem that Rudy would make an announcement if indeed he wanted the public to know.

yeah, i thought it was weird that the news had not been reported, yet rudy t was telling other ball players. Hopefully it's a misunderstanding and Rudy is still cancer free.

I think comments like, "why should we pray" are really unnecessary. If you happen to not have religious morals, just shut up and go listen to Lady GaGA or something. This is about pulling for Rudy. The guy's a Houston sports hero
