Call me a homer, but I was surprised to see Marcus Cousin at #3 in D-League prospects at draftexpress while originally looking to see where Aubrey Coleman stood in the rankings. But hey guys, this kid can shoot lights out: 56% from the field and a whopping 83% from FT at about 5 attempts per game. I know some people have listed Sean Williams as a prospect they would hope the Rockets' pursue so I was hoping to hear ya'll's take, because I would like to see if this kid can ball.

He looked great for the Spurs in the preseason, I was surprised they cut him.

"While not much of a shot-blocking threat"

As a center, I'd pass on him for this current team. He sounds like he could probably work out as a backup for other teams in the league, but without that threat of blocking shots in the paint, he does nothing for us.

One thing that bothers me is that we have this so-called deep team and there are no spots for d-league call ups. The team is 20-25, we maybe deep but is it quality depth? It nice to be 2-deep at every spot but if those players aren't getting it done, what is it good for? I hope, when Morey works his magic, we can open up a spot or two so we'd be able to make a few call ups and see what some of these guys can do with a chance.

We should have never let Hilton Armstrong get away, especially after we gave up Carl Landry to get him.

I saw him play during pre-season. He is not what we need. He is not that enforcer, but then neither is Hill.

One another note - I think the Blazers just picked up someone better.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The Portland Trail Blazers, granted a hardship exception by the NBA because of numerous injuries, have signed center Chris Johnson to a 10-day contract.

Johnson is averaging 17.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 3.07 blocked shots with the Dakota Wizards of the NBA's Developmental League. _______________________________________________________________

Interesting to see how he plays for them.

We gave up Landry to get K-Mart because we didn't have anyone who wasn't injured(T-Mac) to play at the 2. Armstrong was a bad player anyway. I'm glad that he's wearing a Rockets jersey right now.

What about Sean Williams then? According to the same DraftExpress page, he's currently ranked right behind Marcus Cousin and HE'S A SHOT BLOCKER AND RIM PROTECTOR CENTER
