    I love it. They serve it at the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco. I used to get it with extra lemon.

    My best friend's wife has mentioned something similar before, IIRC. I'm thinking maybe putting a lemon drop candy in the Dr. Pepper and then warming them together?

    I like Dr. Pepper on Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream, but I'm open to trying it this other way. Would it melt the ice cream?

    Mmmkay.

    I decided to try this tonight, so I brought it over to my folks. I even bought some JB bourbon if it needed that kick.

    My entire family reaction? Meh. It wasn't necessarily unenjoyable, but was not worth the ten minutes on the stove.

    I am a Texan, and I truly enjoy things that are Texan. But that one needs to be ol' Yeller'd down by the pasture.

    If you like Dr. Pepper, don't ruin it this way.

    I've never had warm/hot Dr. Pepper, but I've been putting lemon in my DP for many years. It rules.
