Why would the Celtics want Sheed?

Last year, it took him all season to get into shape and he was just starting to be decent when the playoffs started. Since he's sat out the first 35+ games this year, he's still going to be in horrible shape when he comes back this year. And they already have plenty of bigs once Perkins comes back (if KG doesn't stay healthy, they aren't making it to the Finals with or without Sheed).

He may be. Last year, all Sheed did was camp out at the three-point line all year and shoot 3's at a 28% clip. Early in the year he was taking 7 a game!

Sheed's always been a favorite of mine. He's the cliche super talented, but lazy kid. He's probably still ready to go since he put pretty respectable numbers in game 7.

I never had anything against him until some stupid comments about how NBA players are like slaves on a plantation. I could never forgive that type of stupidity from him and I disliked him forever after that.
