2011-12 Football Season: Playoffs or bust?

I guess this is a two part question.

    1. Is it Playoff or Bust for you?
    2. Is it Playoff or Bust for McNair?

FOR ME - IT is Playoff and Playoff Win or bust.
This is a playoff team. It is a team that SHOULD win a playoff game.
If they make the playoffs but don't win a game. . they better be 11-5
10-6 Will be under Achieving to me! Another sign of *****ty coaching

2009-2010 was playoffs or bust for me. 2011-2012 is big money in my pockets or bust (Kubiak) for McNair.

What do you mean by "bust" cause this year was playoff or bust and I'm waiting to see what bust is.

This year . . . my interested and emotional investment in the Texans
were as high as it has been. I will probably follow them
from now on . . . but this will be begin the descent of my fandom

With the NFC South and AFC North, this team could be playing 4 of the last 5 super bowl winners. Tack off the usual 2 games for Kubiak's gamechanging decisions, and I'll be generous with 2-4 in divisional games, so I'm guessing 6-7 wins again. I can't even begin to predict how Wade will negatively affect the games.

As long as Kubiak is coaching our team I don't care, we'll not make the playoffs again.

I want 10 wins and the playoffs.

Whether than means 10-6 in the regular season + a first round exit or 9-7 + a playoff win I don't care.

Just get me 10, you bastids.

Barring a major run through the playoffs next year, nothing would mean that Kubiak could keep his job again after next season. 6 years and one playoff game wouldn't be anything notable.

You're r****ded. Playoffs would be a great milestone. I don't know why we would fire a coach if we make the playoffs.

Getting to the playoffs doesn't cover up Kubiak's glaring weaknesses.

We know how the season will turn out. HoWevAAAh, if the texans don't have a bye week til week 11 they might go 7-3 before the collapse begins.
    Just thinking positive.

I am totally on the fire Kubiak bandwagon, but if you bring him back next year...a playoff appearance certainly keeps his job.

Heck a playoff appearance and I run naked through the streets with joy (o.k...maybe thats a bad idea...I don't need to give the Texans yet another reason to lose).

I'd much rather go 10-6 and "miss" the playoffs, instead of going 7-9 and making the playoffs.

I'm sorry, but the cliche about a blind squirrel really comes to mind. Getting to the playoffs is great and all, but 6 years in I won't be excited if the best this team can do is get to the playoffs.

I think you mean 5-3 before eventually meeting his old friend, 5-7.

    really?

Ill take making playoffs at any record anyday over a good record and no playoffs.
