As a Rockets season ticket holder I am getting REALLY Pissed off at the nasty, poor, smelly, vagrants that constantly walk around outside Toyota Center like a bunch of handout begging animals asking everyone if they have an extra ticket. Firstly, if I am walking TO the game I likely dont have an extra ticket. Second, I dont want to talk to you. Has anyone else seen these guys? Its a group of 4 or 5 homeless looking people that ask about tickets...Also, do they try to resell the ticket or does TC do a refund exchange for them?
You would be surprised, a lot of people actually DO have extra tickets. Just look at the empty seats during most of the games, lol. And yes, they flip the tickets right away. I've sold and bought some through them, not a big deal.
Got rid of a few tickets that way before. They are solid people. Word of advice, don't ever go to Austin.
I was lucky one game last year, vs. the Raptors, I got there late, round 2nd qtr, and one of them just gave me club seats since he couldnt sell them, after that happened, I never complained about them again
They are scalpers ...not vagrants. As a season ticket holder for years, I've never ONCE noticed that any of them smell bad. The only thing I noticed is that they are predominately black. But you managed to conclude they are a bunch of homeless dudes. Well done, sir.
I mostly know scalpers from Europe and no black ones, but many of them smell bad. They are not exactly the most classy people, and some lack personal hygiene. Especially in summer, when they run around like crazy, trying to buy and sell, they start to stink. I can remember one in particular from the Euro 2008 and it almost makes me throw up just to think about it .

I have more of a problem with the people that spray **** on your windows without asking trying to clean it up for chump change. I've never had a problem with those people trying to talk to me. Usually they make their presence known, but they don't actively harass people. They're not so far removed from your ordinary salesmen, if they don't say anything then they cannot sell their product. What I have concluded is that because of your lack of respect for the common businessman; that you are a communist! Shame on you.
