So, I wake up this morning after attending my Methodist church yesterday and singing Christmas hymns and watching my youngest in a play about Mary and Joseph. And what should I see on the internets?
The rage on the right is unsustainable and something will have to give if people don't learn to dial it back.

It's called alienating the independents and losing power. Thankfully we have idiots like this guy overtly showing his hate rather than sticking his KKK hood in the trunk.

This has been going on for a while now and it didn't seem to have alienated too many independents last month.

With an economy like this... even David Duke could have won with an R by his name. When the economy stabilizes more and people return to work, you will see independents detach themselves from voting with extremist blocs.

Good for him. Jesus never advocated theft.

can't imagine this is about anything more than inflammatory rhetoric to get people talking about him.

Another example of how extremist views from the right cannot be sustained.

Any organization has a right to campaign for whatever they believe.

Im more interested if they are tax exempt. Of course, not one liberal poster has bothered to bring this up.

All we saw last month was a bunch of wacked out white people getting their hate on.

    sucks to be you!

Republicans may have made major gains in the November elections, but they have yet to win the hearts and minds of the American people, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

That's why I do not like religious organizations getting involved in politics one way or another...same goes for unions. Organizations that were created for non political purposes should not be telling people how to vote.

Related to tax exemption...it takes a toll for communities that have mega churches located. That's a lot of property that generates no money for the local gov't. In some respects, it seems fair to tax them. Then again, I don't want my donations taxed, indirectly or otherwise.

That is so stupid on both sides.

I cannot believe someone at the church did not think about their tax exempt status and trying to make sure it does not lose that status.

I also cannot believe anyone in politics going so far out of their way to alienate a block of potential voters.

This is what happens when people mix politics and religion.

In fact mixing conservative politics and anything is pretty much a disaster waiting to happen.

What do you think of Vaughn Walker, Chief Judge for the Federal District Court in the Northern District of California? (Appointed by Bush)

He has ruled the warrant-less NSA wiretaps and state-secrets privileges under Bush and Obama illegal, holding the federal government liable for their intrusion into citizens' private lives; he has called for the decriminalization of drugs; and, most recently, he struck down Calif's Proposition 8 gay marriage ban on the grounds that it is unconstitutional.
