This season has been an absolute soap opera of crapulence. I haven't seen this type of complacency in my team since Jim Eddy's horrific prevent defense.

I don't want Kubiak just fired. I want him embarrassed. I want to see Bob McNair come down "WWF" style and have Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Savage, Ric Flair, hell ALL of them physically take him away at around the 2:00 mark before halftime.

We, as fans, have paid to be entertained by this organization. This is the only way I see us getting our money's worth.

I could be uglier, but he has children.

They could push him over to the Broncos sideline right before kickoff and tell him to stay there.

I could see Kubiak icing Rackers on a potential game winning FG and then ripping off his Texans hoodie to reveal a Broncos windbreaker underneath.

That would be a swerve I could get behind!

LOL. Speaking of Rick Flair.. I was at the game and every once in a while he would come up on the big screen and give his annoying "wooo" and the crowd did it too. Guess it worked.

    Firing isn't.

I want this SNL guy pull a Julian Assange on Kubiak and replace Arian Foster with Folger's Crystals. Can you tell the difference now, Kubiak?

A few weeks ago I was listening to Pat Kerwan on the radio, and he was discussing firing coaches mid-season.

Essentially, he said that potential coaches will look at how you've treated the last few coaches, and think about whether they are going to get done that way. And if you are talking about a top notch coach in great demand, it may be enough for that coach to look somewhere else. If you do it repeatedly, you end up like Jerry Jones - having to hire Wade Phillips from the 'B list' because nobody on the 'A list' will deal with you.

So is the satisfaction of sticking it to Kubes worth having to downgrade from Cowher/Chucky to John Fox or Eric Mangini?

I've felt the same way all season long. I think McNair might just pulling this stunt to soften the blow by showing confidence in Kubiak and then without much media fare in the off-season, he'll call Kubiak, Smith, and Co into his office, have a private conversation, and and let the whole crew go. You have to remember getting Cowher means relegating a ton of power to him, he might be the de facto GM as well like Belichick is in New England. So, you can't show the Jerry Jones antics when you're only an expansion team. I might be reading too much into this but that's the way I would like the firing to be done, quiet and classy. Sends the right message to coaches out there look at the Texans as a possible destination.
