I wouldn't go that far, but it won't be Kevin's fault. Guy is an absolute stud.

I made a thread about him a month ago and I think 20 people said he was too soft or that I was dumb for even suggesting it. Clutchfans

Didn't see the game, but his boxscore was about 20/12 at halftime. Looks like he eased up in the 2nd half because of the blowout.

I think he is the best center in the NBA right now! He probably isn't getting any recognition for it though...It will be a complete travesty if he isn't in the All Star Game!

    he's not a center. he's a Power Forward..
Darko is their starting center.. I guess he's a bit like Duncan was..
hmm but 19 pts 15 rebs a game is pretty awesome

Unfortunately the Minny fans have mentioned his defense is poor, as in he doesn't do the fundamental stuff because he is so busy trying to grab the next rebound.

    Stat wise, impressive.

He's averaged 19 ppg, 15 rpg, and shooting 42% from the field.

His stats remind me an old-timer from the early 60s. Lots of rebounds, lots of misses. Kind of looks like one of those players too.

Minny board also talks about how, he knows he is going to miss and goes for his own offensive rebounds a lot.

Kevin Love, making 20/20 look easy...lol

His teammates rarely gets any rebound since they defer to him.

He's not a center and he's not close to being the best. What he is, is the best rebounder the NBA has seen since Dennis Rodman.

That said, his defense is still horrible and he's not a go-to scorer. Don't be fooled into thinking this is the best player on a championship team -- he's not THAT good. He's just THAT good at rebounding.

Love is a very good outlet passer. He's a decent 3 pt shooter at the power forward position.

All in all, Love and Beasley's big numbers + Darko's "improvement" have resulted in the same bad record they've always had. Once they get Jonny Flynn and Martell Webster back, THEN we'll see if the stats mean team improvement.

Dwight is better than Love. Love just gets a crapload of defensive rebounds since his teammates defer 90% of the time.

Love does have impeccable timing though. Elite rebounder, but not the best.
