I was a huge bandwagon fan (as I do not follow the MLB) during the year that we got killed by Poojolls. So my only memory of Brad Lidge is full of hate.

Roy is one of my all-time favorite Astros
Lidge was a disaster in the playoffs in the playoffs, don't really miss him

I am kind of pissed at Charlie Manuel right now. Considering how much he is protecting Halladay shouldn't he have considered whether Roy could go out there on two day rest?
Roy certainly looked like he had the speed but his placement seemed off.

Good for Huff but for Stros history he is less of a figure than Roy Oswalt.

Haha. That was meant in jest.
I found it kinda weird to be rooting against Oswalt this Series. Been following him since his days in Round Rock.

I went to school in the SF Bay Area and still have a lot of ties to that area but I am rooting for the Phillies all the way so Roy has another chance at getting a ring.

I wouldn't really say a disaster. He's had 2 incredible playoff runs one OK one and one bad one. The guy has 17 postseason saves- that's not a disaster.

ummm Lidge dominated the Cardinals in 2004.
Many Astro fans think that the Puljos bomb was 2004. it was 2005, the year we went to the World Series.

Can't root Roy. Even though he has been the best pitcher the Astros have ever had, his whining in 2010 has soured me on him
