i know things are done cheaply in the WNBA,...BUT,... with the short season and all, why can't we get at least the away games on TV. no offence, its cool to listen on the radio ( i alota times to keep from hearing Bill " i'm an idiot for not loving houston" Walton, i watch Rockets games on NBC and turn the volume off and listen to Gene and Jim on the radio). i know we get a few on TV, as a season ticket-holder i don't need TV for home games ( i've only missed five games in three years ) but it would be nice to see the away games on maybe channnal 51 or something.

any thoughts on this???

DRINKS UP! guys/gals Comets and Mystics sunday night!!!

Personally ... I would love to see ALL of the Comets games broadcast. I'm stuck here in College Station and have to rely on national TV coverage (which sucks).

I think it would be awesome if Bill & Calvin could call the games on the WB &/or FoxSports like they do the Rockets' games.

*sigh*
I somehow doubt the league will let them, the LA Sparks lobbied for just that right a few years back trying to increase their local popularity, etc. and the leage vetoed it.

If anyone hears of additional coverage, PLEEEEEEEEZE let me know. I have to wait and read about it the next day for most games.

...Adria

I thought it was the exact opposite way. Some of the away games were shown on the WB (with Lisa Malosky and Jeff Hagadorn) and all the home games you had to listen to on the radio (unless they were on NTV...and Reggie is a terrible announcer). I was pissed when Sheryl Swoopes got that triple double and the only access I had to the game was the radio!! Thank God for season tickets this year, at least they come cheap!

No matter how badly the idiots may outmumber you, they're still the idiots.

There is a package on Directv with the WNBA, same as the NBA. It doesn't cost nearly as much as the NBA, about 40.00 I think.
