A long time ago (about 1 1/2 years, actually, a bit longer) I started a Comets fan site called The CometZone. Ace and AntiSonic were in on it too. Thing is, there was absolutely no demand for it. I got about 5 hits per week (other than mine) - all from the same person . The idea was to be kindof the CC.net (.com at that time of the Comets. I finally just gave up after about 2 months or so due to nonexistant demand, among other things.
My question is this: Is there a demand for it to return? Would y'all like to have the CometZone (probably under a new name) come back or not? I'd be perfectly happy to do a good site (much better than the old one . . . yuck!) and it'd be up within a couple weeks, but it's up to you all. Yea or Nay?

Sigemund,
I think it would be good to work with Clutch on this one. There are soooooo many web sites -- it's really nice to have one stop shopping on basketball issues. Plus it's an opportunity for the same fans to poke around, looking at other topics/issues.
I really like the way SOR is tied in -- it's got it's own lead in page, but is linked to the same forum. I'm sure this makes it a lot easier to administer -- for the webmasters and posters.

I can firmly say that I'll be behind you if you decide to jump in again (same as before).

Well as much as "IROC it", I'd also Comets.COM it, too.
I'm an occasional visitor for sure.... biweekly to check up on scores and such
Count me as a fan.
