Dude is a beast. I don't want to get too ahead of myself, but this screams of a Terrell Davis type career to me. The guy has the vision of a hawk, is quick and shifty like a snake, and runs fast like a damn cheetah. If we go to Washington next week, and he runs for around 100 yards at over four yards per carry, I'll be sold.
His vision is incredible. When he made cuts, it was like he was reversing the whole field, and the defense could not catch up. He ran the "one cut" system to absolute perfection. I gotta give credit to the o-line too though, they were creating huge holes.
He is playing like a jacked up Earl Campbell. . .Hopefully he keeps it up. Something tells me he will.
Yeah, Arian Nation. It's the guy's first name. Arian's Nation is cool, too, but I love the pun. I'm sure the pathetic white supremacy groups would love having a Black as the head of the Arian Nation. Oh, and:
Dang...and to think we could have used our 2nd round pick on another position. Of course, Tate would have added much needed depth. I'm still not sold on Slaton even being a 2nd back. Everytime he got the ball today I broke out in a sweat.
Gives us a nice change of pace. Either way, we could be set at the position for a long time. All 3 guys are young and talented.
That is the most overrated thing in football. Why do you need a guy that is capable of nothing more than getting a single yard. When you have an every down back like foster, it isn't needed.
Maybe I shouldn't say "goalline back." I just mean a big guy who can wear down defenses, run down the clock, and save some wear and tear on our main back. Sort of how Caolina has Williams and Stewart. I don't see Slaton and Tate as a "change of pace" from Foster...they all seem kinda the same pace.
Steve is a speed guy, I thought he did well today. I thought Tate was more of a power guy, and Foster is an all-around guy. Seems like they have it covered to me personally.
