Carmelo Anthony puts hit out on social media whore via twitter

Carmelo twitted he'd pay 5k to whoever slaps the **** out of a social media whore(shes writing a book about all the people she slept with). I believe how it started was the social media whore was flirting with Melo on twitter. Carmelos wife LaLa took it as a sign of disrespect for the social media whore to flirt with her husband publicly and began to attack the social media whore via twits. When the social media whore began to disrespecting LaLa personally Melo jumped in with his own tweets attacking the social media whore and defending his wife. The most ill advised of the tweets was Melo saying he'd pay 5k to anyone who slaps the **** out of the social media whore. The social media whore threatened legal action if anything happened to her. Shorty after that Melos twitter page has temporarily been turned off.

I was there the whole time, watching it unfold. Melo was being cool to everyone, haven't seen a celeb really give back like he was responding to everyone he could. She crossed the line he got upset. I wouldn't call it a hit. He shouldn't have been baited but he apologized quickly. I actually gained some respect for him last night. He showed zero ego and just wanted to be on the same level as everyone else.

When I say I was there I mean watching it through Twitter.

What Melo did was wrong obviously. You can't put hits out on people no matter what they say. I kind of feel bad for him because as someone pointed out, it seemed like he wanted to just spend some time on Twitter responding to his fans and haters.

Some people do need to be slapped, but you can't pay people to do it.

But duh, he shouldn't have put up money and tell people to record a video with a name and address.

Obviously what he did was wrong, but put yourself in his shoes, if someone was talking smack to your wife to the point it went overboard would you just sit out and not defend your wife. Carmelo got heated and said something he shouldn't have said, there is no denying that. I agree that he is not a leader, but as a player he is still worth the risk he carries. With that said I still hope Morey can get swing trade for an impact player not named Carmelo.
