Website that updates all of your programs at once?

    I looked through the list and of the programs I'm using, they all tell me when they need updating as I open then (except the Apple stuff, which lets me know automatically, anyway). Is this really convenient?

    Serious post is serious....

    Ninite is more for people that are installing multiple apps at once (like on a new laptop or new install of an OS) and don't want to go find them and go through each install separately. Most apps either tell you when there's an update available when you start them or can be configured to do so. Failing that, there's usually a "search for updates" feature in apps as well.

    That's a really sweet program. I format all my computers every 6 months or so. The biggest drag is installing all those programs once again.
