Please keep this to talk about the series. As usual no Play-by-Play, or general Astros talk. If you need play by play see one of the many other sites that have game casts.
7-9 Adam Wainwright, RHP vs. Bud Norris, RHP 7:05 on FSH
7-10 Jeff Suppan, RHP vs. Brett Myers, RHP 6:05 on FSH
7-11 Blake Hawksworth, RHP vs. Wandy Rodriguez, LHP 1:05 on FSH

I love your enthusiasm, but have we ever scored more than 2 runs off Wainwright? Seems like he owns us.
I'll go LWW.

BudChuck is 4-0 and has a .513 OPS against and a 0.35 ERA vs. the Cardinals in 4 career starts (26 IP): http://www.baseball-reference.com/pl...reer&t=p#oppon
Do I think he's going to come back to earth against them? Sure. It might even be tonight but as of now, the Legend of BudChuck lives on.

What BrooksBall just posted.
Wainwright is 8-1 with a 1.72 ERA against the Astros for his career. The Astros have an OPS of .567 when facing him.
Astros win 1-0.

It always seems to be that way whenever the Cubs, Cards or Brewers are in town.

Castro with an excellent at bat, he just looks like a good hitter.

As soon as Wainwright threw CJ that 3-0 curve, I knew the inning was over...dude is GOOD.

Crap...Mills left Bud in one batter to long. Very good start for Bud either way.

Now thats the Astros I know. I cant believe 23,000 showed up to a game to see them play the Pirates yesterday. Thats a damn good crowd for two terrible teams playing a day game during the week.

Tickets are cheap and the stadium is nice.
It would have been less than 5K in the dome.

23,000 showed up, or 23,000 bought tickets?

C'mon, Mikey... take a pitch there. Suppan is struggling mightily.
