the thing is that this deal looks so much better now that we have guys like Frye, Amir, and Gooden getting upwards of 6 million. And if LeBron thinks Amare is good enough as a #2 then watch out.
Those picks are looking better and better. Once he plays Dwight Howard 4 games a year, those brittle knees of his are going to give out anytime soon.
No they're not. Amare is a solid player. Maybe not an obvious max guy but still quite good offensively and would really help ny. If the other option, which still unlikely but looking increasingly possible, was the knocks striking out for real, this is not a good development for the rockets. Remember the bobcats made the playoffs last year. All the knocks have to do is sneak in and their pick is out of the lotto - meaning not all that enticing a swap anymore.
If we thought Amare was injury prone on the Suns, wait until you see him on the Knicks. They aren't exactly known for their great injury prevention or rehab. Besides the 3 forwards, Gallinari, Lee, and Harrington, every other player has been playing musical chairs with the injured reserve.
he's solid no doubt. But playing for NYC won't showcase his skills without Nash. Not even under dntoni's system... Well maybe....
I hope this is true, he stays away from us, and keeps the Knicks bad (but not terrible, so our protected picks are in danger)
As long as they don't get any of the big three (LeBron, Wade, Bosh) and don't somehow pull off a deal for Chris Paul, we're good.
Kind of expected. As long as Lebron doesn't follow, we should be good. Even if NY turns into a playoff team, a lower tier playoff team in the east is still in the teens in the draft. I'll take Jordan Hill, and two picks in the teens for T-mac.
did you mean 2005-2006 season when amare was out with the knee injury and nash and suns went to the conference finals
