If both Bosh and James want to go to Chicago via "sign and trade", it would completely rape the current Chicago team of talent...

Nope. Chicago will not have to match salaries since they are under the cap, so you'll be looking at the same lopsided type of deal that Rashard Lewis, Grant Hill, and others have gotten in sign and trade deals. A couple of picks and maybe one or two role players. I don't think Noah, Rose, or Gibson are going anywhere.

That's what I'm wondering. Both Chicago and Miami basically cleared their team so these players could sign outright, though Ric Bucher says S&T is more preferable so Bosh, James, etc could get their max deals w/o losing money(Though I'm sure James could probably make money back in endorsements).

Maybe I'm misunderstand(probably am) but what assets does Miami have? No one wants Beasley. What does Chicago have? Rose is untouchable. Questionable on Noah and would they move him or not. Taj Gibson? James Johnson? Again, I probably have a big misunderstanding on all this but... Please correct me if I'm wrong.

a Bulls team with Bosh/LBJ will NOT be able to beat Lakers. 98% of the Bulls scoring will be Bosh/LBJ/Rose... will NOT work.

It worked with the Shaq/Kobe/______ teams because they had a dominant inside scorer... but the Bulls will lack that.

Which dominant inside scorer did Jordan have?

If this happens the Bulls will be a force for years.

Yeah if it wasn't for Ben Wallace and his dominant inside scoring the pistons wouldn't have their title either.

LOL, ok. Bosh is better than Gasol or Bynum.

If this happens, they are easily the best team in the league.

Gotta agree. Im always hearing about how when you pair these superstars up they may not work, but the fact is they will, they will be the best team. People just want to sound knowledgeable about how just cos they are amazing they may not fit. Scrap that. The bulls with Rose, Bron, Bosh AND Noah will be the team to beat

Lawl, the Bulls could probably take it all even if the just had Lebron and Rose, let alone adding Bosh into the mix.

The Bulls were a decent playoff team even just led by Rose, who is better than anyone Lebron has ever played with even in his 60+ win seasons (I doubt the Cavs are a playoff team without Lebron). You throw the unequivocal best player in the league onto that Chicago team, and they would be incredible. Then you throw in Bosh, too? Jesus...

Either way, I doubt it will happen.

I'll be nice and just say the 1992 NBA Finals might repeat itself.

Bosh and Rose would be superb 2nd fiddles for LeBron. Rose would revert back to being a facilitator who would only take over when necessary. Give this team an 82-game season to get their offensive chemistry together & into Thibs defensive mindset and you have a juggernaut. Having the length and athleticism of LeBron/Bosh/Noah on defense with Thibs as coach and this squad would give fits to every team in the NBA.

I hope it happens. It would be great to see the Bulls back on the front page every single day of the season instead of the Lakers.

But why would Toronto/Cleveland do Bosh/LBJ any favors if they are getting nothing but very low draft picks at best in return? Doesn't mean it won't happen, but if I were the GM I wouldn't do it.

I believe that those 3 + Deng are the only players the Bulls have under contract at the moment.

So you would take nothing instead of getting at least draft picks out of it? They would be gone regardless so might as well get SOMETHING in return. You would be a terrible GM.

are you comparing Lebron and Bosh to MJ??? Lebron and Bosh are not winners. they don't have that in them.

or at least we have not seen it yet.

a lot of assuming going on.

they still have to win when it matters, something nobody on that "future" team knows about

because by taking that draft pick back instead of nothing, you are helping that player gain another 30 million in contract money for leaving you

so,you are basically being told by lebron "hey cleveland, you arent good enough, but can you please help me get another 30 million by sign and trade so i can leave your ass please oh pretty please, please take a draft pick"

see......you become the players b**** by doing this.

it would be like if morey caved in to tmac and let him goto knicks and we didnt get hill ...that would be a bad deal to take back something just to help out tmac ,a guy who didnt want to practice with us,and nixed a trade at the deadline last year

im tired of these old white guy gm's caving into the demands of young hip hop agents when the fanbase gets CRUSHED when they see their favorite player leave

toronto fans hate bosh, cavs fans hate lebron, yet you advocate the gm's REWARD bosh/lebron with extra money by taking back a pick?

at some point a gm needs to take a stand and say "oh you dont like us and want to leave? screw you,im not taking back a pick just so you can run off in the sunset with an extra 30 million while our fanbase will never recover, a pick will not help our fanbase forgive me or you"

thats what a gm should say to these selfish players.
