both have advantages and disadvantages, i think we have enough assets to get both Joe Johnson and Bosh. I would like a lineup of Lowry,Martin,Johnson,Bosh,Yao that imo Is realistic. JJ has incredible 4th qt scoring and draws ft's two traits Morey likes in players Why would Atlanta want JJ to walk? You would think JJ (like Bosh) would want as much money as possible. ie: sign and trade we could offer up either martin or brooks and make atlanta happy.
or a lineup of Brooks/Johnson/Ariza/Bosh/Yao either way, I want to see Joe Johnson and Bosh become Rockets this offseason.
I'll take Kevin Martin's higher efficiency, soon-to-be-lower annual salary, and ability to get to the FT line over Joe Johnson for $200, Alex.
I rather keep brooks over Johnson. I like KM. Bosh should be the main target, followed by Amar'e. Unless the rumor about Rockets really trying to get LBJ is true, then that changes everything.
Ok first JJ is not a 3, we would have to trade all of our bench players and probably Rick adelman with them to get those 2 players, so it's non sense.
Based on what? JJ is less injury prone, has better D and court vision...do you really think KM being a slithly better scorer would even the thing?
I honestly feel like Martin is the more efficient/cheaper player at sg. I do think Bosh respects JJ more.... kinda silly though. Honestly Martin had better numbers this last season before he broke his wrist and tyreke evens took over his spot. He still managed to average over 21 ppg with the rockets after the whole integration period(coming off the bench a few times) anc a pretty slow start. I honestly think Kmart is better offensively than JJ except for passing, but thats what brooks does so well is dishes and kicks, you dont need two players to do that anyways. Brooks and martin together average 40ppg, kobe and fisher dont average that many...
JJ obviously, c'mon now....are you guys serious? Dude's been an all-star for the last 4 years. If you're including contracts, age, assets, and all that, then it's debatable. But if we're talking about pure 1-to-1 based off skills alone, it ain't even a question.
