No Houston on the 6 team list, must be a smokescreen. But damn, Jay-Z doing it big. Don't know how he's going to land Lebron in Jersey though.

Rockets need to bring a rapper into ownership or management.

Morey is good at evaluating talent and stuff, but recruiting superstars is a whole different matter since everyone offers the same money more or less and, unlike drafts and trades, the player has the choice, and they don't want to hang out with nerds.

Jay-Z is recruiting Lebron. Rockets need their own rapper or other people with street cred.

Send Chamillionaire... not the CF member (no offense ;) ), but the actual rapper. Then maybe Beyonce can dance for LerBon to convince him to come to Houston.

Shes not a rapper but Beyonce is the biggest mainstream artist from Houston at the moment. Put them in a room with Beyonce for 1 hour and how would they turn down an offer from her?

    He'll only last 15 minutes...ask Jay-Z

Don't doubt Jay-Z's negotiation skills though. He says he can sell ice in the winter and fire in hell, he is a hustler baby he'll sell water to a well

Well both Lebron and JayZ are freemasons so they are pretty much tied at the hip. I've been saying it for over a year now, you can bank on Lebron going to New Jersey.

As if the pitch from Jay-Z hasn't taken place for the past couple of years.

LeBron & Bosh to Chicago, LBJ signs a 3-yr deal so he can bolt to Brooklyn when the arena opens.

Dude Jay-z doesn't even have to be friend with LBJ to convince him its a good deal. They already have Derrick Favors, Brook Lopez, Courtney Lee and Devin Harris as the starting four. Add LBJ to that and you have a contender.

Why should he go to Chicago? Chicago has a better core in place, however their owner is one of the cheapest in the nba while the nets have the russian mark cuban. Signing a three year deal with the Bulls expecting to Jersey later is a gamble, Melo and CP3 are gonna be FAs before that and I'm pretty sure they're open to leaving their current teams.

QUESTION: What is to stop some local millionaire form just coming out and saying . . I'll give LeBron 100 Million on top of whatever the NBA pays him
In an attempt to lure LeBron to a city?
