Any info on this story about a former Kempner student???

I don't understand why kids would do something so dangerous.

I'm class of '07...and I had a class with her when she was just a freshman, crazy stuff.

 

Very tragic story and that sounds like a messed up girl.

 

Why would someone so young want to be involved in immigrant smuggling?? I understand that the money is probably really good....but she was only 18. I guess being a stripper exposed her to things a normal 18 year old probably wouldn't see. What a sad story.

 

yep, as to why you'd try to get into that sort of business, esp. being female and alone, is just beyond me. Just from the story it sounds like some real coyotes did it to her for trying to weasel into their biz.

What kind of a parent doesn't question or stop their kid when they mention they might go to Mexico, during a school week, nonetheless?

 

Pretty much what is in bold sums it up. Plus obviously she hung around the wrong people. It's a sad story. Maybe she was very poor and wanted a quick come up. Who knows. R.I.P.

Most strip clubs probably have illegals working for them, but I can't help thinking that poster here that works at Michaels international can probably tell us what went down.

In my senior year I had to retake a semester of freshman science. lol It was pretty lame having to be in a class full of freshman. Anyway, I would normally just chill to the side, and talk to another upperclassmen retaking the class. Elisabeth was one of the few freshman I even talked to. She wasn't shy, she was friendly, talkative, and outgoing. The class would always get rowdy, and yeah she would participate...she was just having fun like everyone else and she was always laughing.

I'm not surprised that she would feel like she could go out, and do things on her own...but a coyote? Stripper? Didn't see that coming. I only knew her for 1 semester though, and she was one of the very few freshman I even remember that year.
