why not. It's a dead ball. People can do whatever they want. It's like someone jacking up a shot well after a called foul.
I originally thought it was a technical foul shot, then I watched it again, and it seems that the teams were just coming out of a timeout.
If it was coming out of a timeout, then Watson is a douche. If it was a technical FT, then Watson is a dumbass.
Deadball or not, that looked like such a **** move. I always hated KG's deadball goaltends at the rim, but smacking the ball when it's so close to another guy is even more confrontational.
Yeah it looked like it came out of a timeout situation. But that was just a stupid move. don't understand why he would do that.
Yi should have worked on his freethrow shooting before the game. Smart move by Watson. If the game is on the line and Yi goes to the line, that is one less practice shot for him.
Bad joke. Sorry. Would have sounded much better in person. I don't think its a big deal. Dead ball, Yi is allowed to take a FT like Watson is allowed to block it. Earl was just playing around.
Whatever it takes to win, but seriously... Pacers are not going to the playoffs, why do this? This game means nothing.
KG is not the only one that does that. I've seen many players throughout the years do the dead ball goaltend. I believe its a psyche thing. You see your shot go through the hoop, its going to boost your confidence. Dead ball or not. What Watson did was not a dickmove.
