Thanks, Clutch. It's nice to see a video focusing in on all of a player's attributes during an individual game.

Scola is just smooth. That jumper can be deadly.

I hope it leads us into the eighth seed. Scola still needs to get his revenge on Fisher. Clap that boy.

I was struck during the game by how helpless New Jersey was in their attempts at guarding him. Lopez could do nothing. Boone could do nothing. I'll be watching the game again to see, but they didn't double him that much, not that I remember. If Luis hadn't been playing at such a high level for several games now, I'd just describe the performance as coming against an awful team, the Nets, but it was no fluke.

One of the things that excited me was how Ariza found Luis early and often. That's one of the first games in a long time where Trevor really impressed me. He kept feeding Scola and it became contagious.

love the scola interview at the end. he didnt mention his incredible individual night once - it was all about the team and how important it was to win the game - made it clear that the players are not giving up and will fight for a playoff spot. and no mention of personal stats. unlike certain recently departed $23 million dollar/year players, scola is all about TEAM! love it. its easy to root for a team w/ guys like this. :)

Battier must do Scola's PR and write his post-game interview speeches for extra cash. Nice work, Shane! Scola's apparently lack of selfish-ness will pick him up a couple extra million bucks for sure! :)

McGrady should have hired Shane instead of Stephen A. Smith, who just made McGrady sound douchey.

the highlight vids that you put out are the best new addition to the site in awhile Clutch.

    appreciate the work.

that's gotta be the most hustle-driven 40+ point effort in nba history. the man is a joy to watch play.

There really wasnt much they could do....well i would have just told one player to stay on scola no matter what because he did all his damage by moving without the ball extremely well. Very few of his points came through a post up or one on one move, it was all putbacks, quick jumpers, and moving to the rim for a quick layup.

and i love the bench smiling at the end, says how much they like scola and how good the chemistry still is after the trade, even Armstrong was cheering for him.

Luis is humble, I dont know if its a personal thing or a cultural thing. But he says all the right things, but most importantly he means it.

I know that. I know CH was joking, but saying that Battier writes for Luis is silly.
Luis is quite articulate, and says what he means.
