Has anyone ever been in a situation where they had to pull out their gun?

I just bought my second handgun yesterday, it's a small walther P22 and I plan to keep it in my car. The other gun I have is kept in the house. I always role plays scenarios in my head of what I would do if I got faced with a situation where it would be necessary to pull one out, just wondering if anyone has had an experience before.

I feel like I can think up what I would do all day long but kinda wonder if I could ever actually shoot someone if I had to when the time came.

I'm sure I could do it if they had a gun pointed to me and I happened to have one in my hand but what if I just noticed an un armed person entering my house...chances are they could be armed or they might not, but could I make a decision in that quick split second to shoot or not to shoot?

Thankfully no. I have it in a gun safe in my bedroom and I don't carry it.

I'm sure the day I do have to "whip it out" it will be the worse day of someones life...including mine.

The OP is clearly not the real T-Mac. Concerns about defense? Questioning whether or not to shoot? Meh.

I can honestly say that has never happened to me.

I don't think I'll ever be in a situation where I'll need to pull it out in my car. I'll try to keep mine in my pants most often as possible but I understand that some situations call for a pull out.

After Ike, when basics like ice and bread were finally being distributed at grocery stores, I had waited in line for nearly an hour to acquire what little there was to be had. Upon returning to may car, I was approached by two men who politely requested that I save them the trouble of standing in said line. I did not accommodate them.

Not by-the-book use of deadly force, but they ran, so no harm, no foul. I'd like my chances with a jury in that atmosphere, anyway. ****ing vultures.

well this one time my homeboy was going to shoot some dice on the corner of 21 and lewis and i was driving around the area and i saw some chicks riding next to me staring at me real hard. then i saw my homeboy on the corner and i was like "They got my homey hemmed up and they all around Ain't none of them seeing if they going straight pound for pound. I gotta come up real quick before they start to clown, I best pull out my strap and lay them busters down."
