I like this kid. He's a solid wing with a good attitude. Here are some highlights of last season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESUq0Rvn08Q <object style="height: 344px; width: 425px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ESUq0Rvn08Q"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ESUq0Rvn08Q" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></object>
I like this vid better: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/b_D-a4hfnHI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/b_D-a4hfnHI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Kevin Martin seems to be pretty good at bringing out a smile from Adelman. Hope we see more of that this season.
Ever since last year I've always had my eye on Kevin. I love what he can do with so little in terms of shots. He doesn't take a lot of bad shots like most scorers. I even flipped T-mac for Martin and Noci (I think someone else too). I really can't believe he got him and I agree with Morey's evaluation of him. You HAVE to have a guy who can get to the basket and get calls in late game situations. I-I-I can't wait!
I've always known him to be a very good wing. However, I'll admit, he's flown under my radar of coveted players via trade/free agency this year. I'm pleasantly surprised to get him and more without having to give up too much (I'll miss Landry). Kevin is pretty modest and non-conventional to your typical arrogant star from what I gather. I havent' watched him this year as I do not have league pass. Does she still possess the athleticism and quickness that the second video in this thread portrays?
Bet you guys didn't know he can also sing and dance. <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oUbpGmR1-QM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oUbpGmR1-QM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
It will be interesting to see how he fits in with the team. I think it will be refreshing to finally have a wing player that can create his own shot (been a long time for us Rox fans). I am anxious to see him and Brooks playing together. On a good night they will give teams fits. I think this will also help Ariza as well. Relieves him of that duty to create shots. He will be able to play off Martin and Brooks. Its good we had a couple days off so they can get in some practice time together. Martin knows the system so shouldn't take him long to 'fit in'. Seems like a good guy so chemistry shouldn't be an issue. I wonder if we will see Lowry, Brooks, and Martin on the floor together? Hmmm all that speed and shooting. Small, but could be a really good scoring trio. The bigger questions will be Hill and Armstrong and how they fit. If those two can be somewhat productive we could be trouble from here on out for the west.
Yeah dude, its freaking hard. He's a tricky player to use in general. I like this one, cause its got that cool MIA song. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jQCtCI4H5lw&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jQCtCI4H5lw&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> I'm excited about this. Really excited. He's going to fill it up.
