I enjoyed the first one and am looking forward to the sequel. However, the the trailer looks somewhat 'cheesy' and flashy (can't think of the right word). Maybe it has to do with the music or the liquid metal graphics, I don't know.

Here's the trailer for the first movie:
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FCctqbRrsBQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FCctqbRrsBQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I'll watch when I get home with sound.

I watched Wall Street for the first time a year and a half ago and it is one of my top 20 favorites. I'll probably watch 2 when it does come out.

Seeing a trailer with Josh Brolin and Frank Langella where they get lower billing then LeDouche makes me frown, but always a sucker for any business or finance themed movies, or even crappy TV shows. Barbarians at the Gate, Rogue Trader, Bull.

Interesting that Michael Douglas has been playing a middle-aged man for longer than Shia's probably been alive.

I've been waiting 20 years for a sequel. This is going to be great.

I know there are some Shia LaBeouf fans here but I don't like his acting and how many more bad sequels before he's given a title for those.

Did want to see it but will have to see it at a later date because I'm out of town this weekend. Haven't seen the original in years, gonna pick it up on Bluray and show it to the wife before we get around to seeing the sequel.

I was flipping the other day and landed something for a second about white collar crime and how come you don't see a Cops like show focusing on white collar criminals. Basically, whatever I was watching was pointing out how the media focuses on blacks and minorities as criminals primarily, but doesn't sensationalize people like Madoff, whose actions end up doing a lot more damage.

The obvious answer is, because it really isn't exciting in a way that can be portrayed briefly on film.

Don't get me wrong, Straithairn is a great actor who can certainly put some life into a character like Madoff...and anyone who did what Madoff did has to be an eccentric fellow...but would such a movie really be that entertaining? maybe on HBO or something.
