Stats for the last 5 games: Over 11 and a half points and rebounds with an over 70% fg%, 3 bpg, and almost 1 spg. 1.4 apg and 100% from the ft line to boot! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=991 I give you the Haitian Sensation, Samuel Dalembert:
Hummm that sounds much better. I wonder why players have that sence of being moved than decide to turn it on weird.
^ they probably stop smoking weed and realize that they need their job to keep buying weed i do not want dalembert he isnt a terrible player but over priced
I picked him up a few weeks ago in fantasy. The guy has played great the past two weeks. I still dont want him on the Rox though.
What does everyone have against dal, he's a 7 footer that blacks shots with decent post defense, which is something we lack. Im sure that would come in handy in the playoffs playing against the lakers.
^ like i said he isnt a terrible player just heavily over payed i think for that same price tag there is an even better player(s) that can "blacks shots" against the lakers
If it meant acquiring Iggy, I would embrace Dalembert with arms wide open. He would fill a need and he would be an expiring contract next year, but yes, he's way overpaid.
It's hilarious, all that sudden effort, he'll have "flulike symptoms" before he can even be traded (flu-like symptoms = actually broke a sweat and stressed himself sick).
yes for the price tag - but one that is available? I would take Dalembert IF it meant we got Iguodala (and screw the lux tax hit!)
If we got an legit starting center in Dalembert and Iggy and another piece from Philly that would send either Ariza or Battier to the bench, I feel like the Rockets would have a legit shot at a title this year. Does anyone agree with me?
I was a proponent of the Iggy + Dalembert trade, but after looking over Iggy's 5-year contract and his scoring production, I think their acquisition could hurt the Rockets. On the other hand, if we acquire Butler (one more year after this one) plus Miller and Foye (both expiring), we have much more flexibility and firepower, i.e. more bang for the T-buck. Even if we didn't keep one or more of them, each of the Washington players is far more tradeable for other assets in the near future. We could trade either Butler or Miller immediately as long as we didn't pair them with another player. Either of those $9-10M contracts could net us a center and/or a SG we would like to keep.
i picked him up on my fantasy team, which tells you how badly he was playing earlier if he was in the FA pool...he's been great lately, especially swatting shots....but i'd be worried that if we traded for him he'd go back to being satisfied with just showing up for the game.
Last two games: 12 pts on 6-8 from the field along with 21 rebs. 17 pts on 7-7 from the field along with 12 rebs. A leader and humanitarian as well: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=5037166#post5037166 http://www.philly.com/inquirer/sports/81849387.html http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE60F0M920100116?type=sportsNews C'mon Morey, Dalembert and Iggy for T-Mac and Battier. Make it happen!
If we did that trade no way Battier gets included. Why give them an asset that's not needed to complete the deal?
