We'd take J O'Neal for Tracy and "a bargain guy like Kyle Lowry" over Dalembert and Young or Speights for Tracy...

    What say you?

I say this fits under the same silliness and inanity as the one posted yesterday. Uh, let's add Lowery...or Landry. They're cheap, Rox don't care.

These guys know nada about Rox and they write - and get paid??? Amazing.

    Kyle Lowry? Seriously?

Why would we trade an injury prone and a terrific PG for another injury prone?

LOL they actually think we want O'neal that bad or want to get rid of Tracy so much that we would "give them a bargain deal like Kyle"???

    That's not even a no, that's a BWAHAHAHAHAHA No.

The national media just has no clue who these Rockets are. Kyle Lowry as filler or a trade chip for J.O. and all of these other nonsense trades make these people look like fools.

It's lime they choose McGrady and then close their eyes and pick someone from the bench as a throw-in.

I posted this for comic relief. It's funny how they think the smartest gm would actually give up an asset just because they would in order to get a trade done. We don't need Jermaine to be a playoff team. We are that already.

Then again, read the "miami interested in tmac" thread. It's filled with people who think we should be able to get a 1st round pick or one of their young players to go along with O'Neal for tmac.

It's just pretty funny that both side's fans/reporters think it's the other team that should be throwing in young, cheap players.

The question should be whether O'Neal or McGrady will still be standing at season's end.

And for that matter the Rockets don't really need to get rid of McGrady THAT BAD.

Its pretty amazing how national media types who rarely if ever actually watch Rox games can assume to understand deep blue. Would O'neal help this season sure but Morey always looks beyond the current situation and tries to be a step ahead of the pack. Lowry being a "bargin guy" throw in bascially says it all and makes this piece a mute point.

I wouldn't trade Lowry for JO even if they had the same contract.

Just as bad as throwing in Lowery was this...

"When Houston was in Philly a couple of weeks ago the rumor was that McGrady looked as if he ate another Tracy McGrady while out for nearly a year with nagging and seemingly chronic knee injury, but that seems to have been an exaggeration. He’s eaten Tracy Morgan, tops."

Really? Is this Dec 08?

Weird. I saw the guy the night he returned against Detroit and he looked better than he has in years. His fitness level doesn't translate as well on TV but in person he was lean and if anything is just carrying a few more pounds of muscle than we are used to (a byproduct of busting his butt this summer in the gym I'm sure).

LOL! I swear most sports writers have no basketball knowledge. They think the NBA is 2K10.

Dude is an idiot, but if he is right and PA would want a McGrady for Dalembert+YOUNG/SPEIGHTS, I would sign RIGHT NOW!

I expect McGrady will be showing more on the court than O'Neal by season's end.

So the Rockets likely would want someone that has healthy limbs.

That would make him 2 years older than a good number of people posting in the GARM these days.
