http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?columnist=oneil_dana&id=4730385 Heartwarming story from ESPN about a son living the dreams of his immigrant father. I wish him all the best, it would be great to have an Asian American NBA player, as much of a long shot as that will be.
He's legit for the college game. Doesn't translate at all to the pro level with handles that will be torn apart by NBA defenses. Kind of a lumbering presence, his best bet is to keep working on his outside shot and become the next Eddie House. But what are the odds of a 5'6 Taiwanese immigrant giving birth to a 6'3, 200 pound kid? It's all in the milk.
Dumb comparison. Sun Yue is Chinese. Jeremy is American. But Sun Yue would probably do well at the US college level as well. The question is could Jeremy Lin cut it at the NBA level.
Harvard has a great team this year...put up a fight the entire game against UConn and then beat Boston College away straight-up as 12 point dogs. Awesome team to bet on right now before everyone realizes just how good they are
Since he is on his senior year, I guess he's eligible to be drafted next season......I wonder if he would be a lottery pick or a low first rounder? Maybe Morey could snatch this guard....
Like someone has said, your comparison is really dumb. The only thing that they have in common is that they both have yellow skin.
Ha, good one. No way this kid is in the first round, or even the first half of the second round. He probably wont be in the late 2nd round either. Next years draft class is pretty ridiculous. And then you have other euro players throwing their names in the draft. He can probably get picked up for a camp though.

He's good enough to be a late first rounder, lets hope prejudice doesn't get in the way. Ironically, if he was an international player, and was playing this good on the CNT, he would probably be drafted in the 1st round for sure. Which is funny because USA is suppose to be the land of opportunities
Given that the kid is attening Harvard, I suspect he's not exactly worried about getting a decent job in or outside of hoops. Don't think he's on anyone's NBA draft radar, but an overseas career is certainly possible. I wonder if somehow a team in China can qualify him as "domestic" and not use one of the two "ex-pat" quotas on him.
I wish him all the luck in the world. Question: Would he benefit from a couple of years in Europe? Rocket River
I'm sure his professors at Harvard give him preferential treatment like giving an A+ instead of an A because he is an Asian baller.
