That's really cool, and although I have my reservations, I sincerely hope it works out. AI deserves a better send off.

Could you imagine the cheers after he is introduced in his first game back?

i think iverson still has game (A LOT). he looks really good in the few games i saw him with memphis (just didn't get playing time).

and with the sixers sucking, iverson can be the main guy like he always wanted.

and yes, it would be really cool to see the cheers/chants rain down on AI after what he has endured the past year and a half.

hopefully this comes to fruition, and we get to see iverson wearing a sixers jersey putting in work on the league again.

I would love to see this happen AI coming back home. And more than likely he will be able to play the way he wants.

I guess Louis Williams being out for 8 weeks made this move easier.

Wow, this would be amazing and he would actually get to start. The Sixers need a playmaker and that's him, they have nothing to lose, he'd be back home, and Louis Williams is injured. Iggy, Brand, and Iverson, boy they would make some noise in the East.

No. T. Young is playing great for fantasy team right now. This is going to hurt his production!

Never did buy the retirement story. I am not a fan because he doesn't take good teams to the next level but he is good enough to play in the NBA and perhaps make a bad team better. I would have liked to see what he could have done on that awful Knicks team.

Yup. Hopefully AI's return doesn't turn out like Francis' return back home. It's weird how their careers ended up considering how they play a similar style.

Except for A.I. is more likely to contribute in Philly unlike Steve Francis when he came back to Houston.

Would love to see this. In fact, I just picked him up as a free agent in fantasy after reading this thread. Thanks!
