Looks like multiple experts are going on record refuting the notion that the Mayan calendar "expires" in 2012. They are now readjusting that date to November 23 2009. 1.5 Hours more? The Mayans said we will know "because the Golden sun will rise again for a moment, and then fall back dead and dark in the sky" Heavy stuff. I wish we would have had a forewarning about all this so someone could have made it into a motion picture. November 23, November 23, NOVEMBER 23. Its coming so quick. 1.25 hours. Wonder if old boy plans on working out between 11:30 Pm and Midnight tonight, just so he can have a "hot MRI" and its results to DM before he bangs his wife in the morning. It feels like the zero hour is coming. (just wish I could watch Pig Miller one more time)
Here is what the Mayan calendar predicted. 1. TMac will practice. 2. MRI will show it is getting there 3. Rockets say they are going to take it slow but he looks good. 4. Adelman will say he needs to practice multiple days and hard to prove he is ready to avoid an in and out deal like last year. 5. Tmac will say he should be playing now. 6. Adelman and Morey will say he is still not quite there, and to have patience. 7. Tmac will say something stupid in the media 8. Tmac will still be sitting 9. TMac's fan club will say the Rockets are doing him dirty. 10. DD will argue a lot with them. OK, I will try to avoid number 10 this time. DD
I would forgive T-mac if he would just stop saying stupid things to the media. I guess I will never be able to forgive him for last season, even he does end up having a good year this season.
I agree with his prediction for the most part. But I keep having a feeling like maybe a trade will be done sooner than later....
the mri won't be able to tell if he's getting there, it's either all ok or it's showing something unusual. It should be pretty clear cut, the results. I would be surprised if they keep beating around the bush if the results are positive. If they do, then something is going down..
