I don't even know what to say to these idiots.

They don't have a life. I guess they crawl right out at every chance they can, because they don't root for the rocket, they root for hating a player.

I guess setting chuck up for 3 nice easy layups in OT and a clutch drive doesn't mean **** then right?

I'm sad that filth like you are part of this fanbase. Root for the team, and stop turning on your players after every game they do bad. Its deplorable the way you conduct yourselves.

Agreed. RA stayed with Scola for too long. The dude looked horrible offensively in the 4th + OT.

I'm not too worried though. The season is still young.

I feel Adelman didn't give his all for this game. He might want to keep something for playoffs in case we meet the lakers again.

That is some pretty decent shooting if you ask me

Another smart game by Lowry. His decision-making has been amazing in the past two games. Personally, I would've liked to have seen Adelman stick with Lowry for a little longer in the 4Q before bringing Brooks back, but can't fault him for going with his starters.

Anyway, the Rockets have a really special PG tandem in Brooks and Lowry. A real pleasure to watch.

I don't understand why Landry was benched. He was our best offensive player tonight!

Look... so Aaron was showing flashes of stupidity... big deal. It was one game, and I'm sure he's aware of his mistakes.

We lost to the champs by one point in OT. The team bound to have "the worst record in the western conference" lost to the defending champs by one point in OT.

We lost to LA all four games last season and that didn't stop us from taking them to 7 in the playoffs did it? Theoretically, we can still end the season 80-2, so quit complaining.

He was trapped at times, but there were a number of instances where he made sloppy passes which lead to turnovers. It's important for him to learn from this experience. I'm not implying that he doesn't need help.

Great effort by all. Rick spread the court and let AB go one on one against anyone. There was no way Derek Fisher was going to stay in front of him. He could have pulled up for an easy 10 footer.

AB doesn't need a screen on the last play.

That's what I was yelling at the screen in that final minute too. Kyle has so much energy, and the Lakers would either have to bring in another guard off the bench to keep up with him or settle for a height advantage without the quickness. Not enough double PG play down the home stretch to stress the Lakers out.

As a matter of fact, the whole game was played a little too slowly IMO. I'm glad they stepped up their D, but there just wasn't enough pressure on both ends of the court for a win.

Lakers did not have Pau Gasol. A key member of their offense and defense.

this is his second year ,and fifth game of this season , playing with the defending champ.

in ending time, he DID dribble a little bit too much, so ? u call him a moron?

one more thing , he's got derek 0-5.

But blaming this loss on him is laughable. If anyone is to blame, it is a certain role player who shot 5-21 and played no defense.

Luis did well till the 4th quarter. I believe Landry should have been brought in at that time.

my previous response, wrong thread

I think we lost because Adelman took Chuck Hayes out too early in the first quarter that led the Lakers to a 9-2 run to tie the quarter 22 a piece.

Had Hayes stayed in longer, we may have been able to carry that momentum into the whole game.

Wow - what a game.

This game is very positive for us except for the final score. NO reason to be down.

We either clearly won every statistical category or tied with the Lakers. I mean, across the board - fg percentage, ft's assists, rebounds, etc....

Except 1. Turnovers.

And a lot of those turnovers are growing pains - so they will come down...all and all, when you can beat the world champ in every other category (and tie in a few) you're doing really great.
