she'll be great eye candy for sure, but she's not a very good actress and probably will bring down the quality of the film. nolan hasn't been wrong yet, so i pray he can work miracles.

The other rumor today however is pure BS from, surprise surprise, the British tabloids. The Sun reports that "Transformers" babe Megan Fox has signed up to play Catwoman in the next film which would hit in 2011.

At present no script even exists let alone is the film anywhere near casting so dismiss this entirely for now.

No way Christopher Nolan makes another Batman if this is true. He's been the savior of the franchise that a decade ago thought Batman would look great with nipples on his suit.

Probably so. It would've been great to have Nolan do the Wolverine movie. There's a superhero with a lot of psychological baggage that Nolan could exploit.

Nolan hasn't even signed on to do the 3rd Batman as of yet, he's got Inception that comes out next year.

All rumors up until then should be considered unsubstantiated tripe.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Nolan will never choose another villian who wears a "suit". Of course the Joker is an exception because he's a true freak, and that explains his appearence/clothes.

But, why would there be yet another character who wears tights/armor/mask? We already know why Nolan has Bruce Wayne do it (as explained in Batman Begins). He's merely a symbol intended to strike fear. If he could do it without the suit, he would... but the suit makes him more effective. It's also a bat because he's afraid of bats.

Using that logic, there should never be a true "catwoman"...or namely, a woman who dresses up as a cat to rob things. Now, guys like the Penguin or the Riddler don't need suits. Hell, I'd settle for a corporate-type villian who dabs in the underworld... both of which can be done with the Riddler or Penguin.

Not Catwoman.

From the Dark Knight, the story for a third movie (if it should come out) would center of Batman dealing with being cast as a villian and ultimately being redeemed. I can't imagine Catwoman being part of Nolan's universe, though with

What's the difference? I saw the movie at a regular theater so I have no idea what sequences "blew me away" with IMAX format. I'm not the hippest cat around so if someone can explain to me what the differences are and where they were used in Dark Knight that would be super.

There is no way Fox is Catwoman, the biggest rumors I've heard so far are Depp for the Riddler and Phillip Seymour Hoffman for the Penguin but even those are substantial at best. I would love to see these two in these roles but I'm not holding my breath.
